Your grown-up helps you sign in. Use a nickname, and keep your class code and password private. The app remembers your learning so you can carry on next time. Your family’s responsible adult or teacher can see your progress.

Someone who knows a class code can see that class’s student display names and characters before signing in. Ask your grown-up for help if anything worries you.

Who this notice covers

This notice covers Atlumio’s website, Phonics, Writing and teaching hub. Adult family members or carers manage family accounts. Teachers manage school accounts and class access. A school may also have its own privacy notice and responsibilities for student information.

Information used by the apps

Adult account information includes email addresses, account identifiers and sign-in records. Child and class information includes nicknames or display names, chosen characters, class names, class codes, student credentials, learning assignments and starting levels.

Learning records can include practice answers, attempts, completion, benchmark results, progress, virtual coins and items. Writing records can include saved drafts, submitted writing and teacher feedback. Use a nickname and avoid putting addresses, medical details or other sensitive information into learning activities.

The apps use this information to sign you in, save work, continue learning, manage classes and show progress to the responsible adult. Practice results may guide the next learning step; this is educational guidance rather than a clinical assessment.

Who can see information

Adult family account holders can see the profiles and learning linked to their family account. Teachers can see the students, progress and writing linked to their classes. Class-code lookup displays student names and characters; keep class codes within the intended class and families.

Writing student passwords are checked using password hashes. An encrypted copy is also stored for authorised teachers to print login cards. A printed login card contains a student’s password and should be kept safe. Archiving a student or class is not the same as deleting its records.

Hosting and service providers

The site uses Tencent EdgeOne hosting. The learning apps use Tencent CloudBase for account authentication and stored learning records; the configured environment is in Singapore. Information may therefore be processed outside the country where you use Atlumio. Hosting and authentication providers also process technical information needed to deliver and protect their services.

A complete provider list, relevant international-transfer safeguards and any additional processing by individual teaching hub are being confirmed for the final notice.

Cookies and device storage

Browser storage remembers language and interface preferences, sign-in sessions and some activity state. Authentication services and protected teacher pages use sign-in storage or cookies. These support features you request. Clearing browser data can sign you out or reset preferences; it does not delete cloud learning records.

Do not use shared devices without signing out when finished. Any future optional analytics or advertising technology needs its own disclosure and, where required, permission before it is enabled.

Keeping and removing information

Saved accounts and learning records support continued use. The retention schedule for active and inactive accounts, school records, security logs and backups is still being confirmed; no fixed deletion period is stated in this draft.

Phonics account settings provide family profile deletion and account closure. Other deletion requests need a verified route to the operator. School users should also contact the teacher or school responsible for their account. Archiving and clearing a device do not necessarily erase cloud records or backups.

Your choices and rights

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct or erase personal information, restrict its use, object to processing, receive a portable copy, or withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. You may also complain to your local data protection authority. A responsible family adult or school can help a child exercise these rights.

The operator’s legal identity, public privacy contact, applicable legal grounds for processing and request procedure must be added to complete this notice. Please do not send personal information to an unverified email address.

Purchases and sales referrals / 购买与销售推荐

Paid purchases use Stripe-hosted checkout. Atlumio stores order references, payment status, amounts, refunds, membership expiry, named-place assignments and referral attribution. Payment credentials are entered on Stripe’s checkout. Approved sales partners see customer reference codes, payment and commission amounts, membership expiry and time remaining; they do not receive children’s learning records through the partner dashboard.

A referral link remembers a sales code on the device for up to 30 days. After adult sign-in, the code is also recorded on the server for up to 30 days for checkout attribution. The first eligible paid referral determines commission attribution under the partner agreement. Public business contact and purchase policies are available on the pricing and purchase policies page.
